Hi everyone! It’s almost spring! The flowers are blooming the birds are chirping. I’ve really been enjoying my mornings outdoors watching the beauty of nature. The worlds current state is in panic mode and all I can say is stay calm and trust in God! There’s nothing more to it.
My favorite bible scripture to read in times like these is psalm 91. When I was a little girl my mom taught me this psalm and it’s one of my favorite memories.
Okay onto the fun stuff! UGLY POT HACKS!
I have a whole collection of plants that are planted in ugly pots. I have a few ugly pot hack ideas! Quick covers that only take minutes to make and create a huge impact! I’m so glad I’ve finally come around to putting them together.
Time Needed :
This took me about 15 minutes to put together! Honestly a really easy DIY.
Total Cost:
The place mats were only $2.98 each. With the velcro it cost me a total of about $7.

SUPER EASY UGLY POT HACK!
I made a trip to pier one imports and found these super cute place mats made of dry grass. I thought they would make super cuter covers! To start off I decided to combine two place mats together. This would make it long enough to go around my larger pot on the fiddle leaf fig plant.
I started off by gluing the edges of the tassels down avoiding too much glue on the tassels. Than I snipped the tassels off so they would be out of my way. This step is optional. If you love the look of tassels you can leave them.
Here’s how the edges looked once I had them glued down.
Okay next I used some wire to attach the two place mats together.
And last I glued on some velcro on the ends. Wasn’t that super easy!!

Now just wrap it around the pot and secure it with the velcro! AND VOILA!

Here’s how far past the pot it sticks out. I’m pretty sure it would be easy to cut the mats down to shorten them a bit.
