Here’s how to easily make an envelope with paper!
Not gonna lie I’m always looking for an envelope in my house. I try and keep the box of envelopes in one spot but it somehow manages to disappear every time I need an envelope. That might have something to do with having a crafty kid around the house. HAHA😂 Always misplacing my stuff. Their were times when I literally had to make a run to the store for 1 envelope because I needed to give a b-day card or wedding card! 😑 HATE having to go to the store for something that’s been misplace.
So if you’re ever in pickle and need an envelope badly here’s a quick way to make your own cute DIY envelopes using paper. Assuming you don’t need to run to the store for any of these supplies you should be good to go! 🙂 Keep in mind I used scrapbook paper for mine. I’m not sure if this would work on 8×10 paper but, you can always give it a try. I’m thinking they might be a bit smaller.
What you’ll need
- scrapbook paper
- scissors
- ruler
- pencil
- double sided tape
I got my scrapbook paper from Michaels for 50 cents.
Trace the other half of the heart so it will be even before you cut it out.
fold the sides in like shown below
fold it up at the bottom
That’s it. Super easy!
